The central sitting area, allows residents to absorb the daily routine in a busy unit. The high profile electric hospital beds allow for maximum comfort and care as well as minimising the risk of pressure sores development and discomfort. Our highly qualified multidisciplinary team will ensure the optimum of care for your loved ones.
The Activities Therapist will design a programme in conjunction with the resident and family that will be suitable to meet the individual's needs. The main emphasis in this unit is to provide high quality care to the dependency needs of each individual. A pleasant, caring and secure environment is guaranteed in this purpose built unit.
At Highfield Healthcare we recognise the importance of diet in the care of residents of our High Dependency Unit. We have our own catering department providing nutritious food and supplements where required. Our dietician will review each resident and establish and optimum diet. In order to maximise calorie intake, individualised meals of appropriate consistency and texture will be provided by our highly qualified chef.
