Highfield Healthcare provides specialist care to the elderly. It was founded by Dr. John Eustace in 1825 and is currently managed by the fifth and sixth generations of the Eustace family. Highfield Healthcare has expanded significantly since inception and now has 4 facilities and a total complement of 313 beds.
New standards introduced under HIQA (Health Information and Quality Authority) and the Mental Health Commission have sought to improve standards throughout the sector, however high standards have always been the ethos of Highfield Healthcare. Our Mission Statement is "Committed to providing the highest standard of care and support to all our residents. Our patients are cared for in an environment appropriate to their needs, where the priority is to preserve their dignity and promote their independence".
We are on the 'preferred providers' list for both the HSE 'Fair Deal' funding programme and for VHI, Quinn Healthcare and Aviva private medical insurance schemes.
